noty is a simple, elegant sticky note app for your computer. Instead of hiding your notes inside a window or folder, noty places them right at the edge of your screen. Your notes stay visible while you work, browse, or watch videos. Think of digital sticky notes that never fall off your monitor.
Perfect for:
- Quick reminders (call mom, pay bills)
- Todo lists that stay visible
- Important dates and deadlines
- Grocery lists while shopping online
- Keeping URLs or snippets handy
noty notes attach themselves to the side of your display. They stay there—always visible, always accessible. No more forgetting to check your notes app.
Every note body is encrypted. Only you can read what you write. noty works completely offline—nothing is uploaded to the cloud, and no account is needed.
Write a note, attach it to the screen, and you're done. No complicated menus or settings to learn.
noty runs quietly in the background using very little of your computer's power. You won't even notice it's there—except when you need a note.
Built for recent macOS versions using modern design tools. It integrates smoothly with your system's look and feel.

No. noty works entirely offline. Your notes are stored on your hard drive.

- Use small notes for quick reminders—they take up less screen space.
- Take a screenshot of important notes as backup, just in case.
If you decide noty isn't for you:
- Close noty completely by clicking its menu bar icon and selecting "Quit".
