I am a Visiting Faculty member in Computer Science at Ottawa University in Ottawa, Kansas. I completed my Ph.D. in Computer Science at Old Dominion University (ODU), where I was advised by Dr. Vikas Ashok and affiliated with the Web Science and Digital Libraries (WS-DL) Research Group.
My research bridges Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to design intelligent systems that make digital spaces accessible, usable, and inclusive for people with disabilities. I focus on:
- 𧩠Non-visual web interaction and screen-reader accessibility
- π€ AI-driven adaptive interfaces for blind and neurodivergent users
- π¬ Accessible online communication and conversational systems
- π Disability and digital access in Global South contexts, especially Bangladesh
- π Accessible security and privacy for screen-reader users (emerging direction)
- π§ Dissertation (completed): Proxy Interfaces for Enhancing Non-Visual Web Usability
- 𧩠Projects: Building Chrome extensions that integrate with local LLMs to improve blind users' interaction with web content, including e-commerce and consent management.
- π§π© Bangladesh: Studying disability and digital access in Bangladesh, and running a scoping review of disability research in HCI4D and Global South contexts.
- π Selected Publications:
- Understanding Blind Users' Experiences in Online Discussions (IJHCI 2025)
- Enabling Efficient Web Data-Record Interaction for People with Visual Impairments via Proxy Interfaces (ACM TiiS 2023)
